Thox is a small family business based in Norfolk set up by a farmer's wife with a flair for colour and design.
The concept of larger size socks for ladies came about following a chance remark by a friend who mentioned how she
would always use her husband's socks because there was no alternative on the high street for women with larger
than average feet.
As a result Tina used her skills to produce fashionable and comfortable socks for this specific size range and so 'Thox' was born.
So why the name 'Thox'?
Well - would you believe each of our pets (even the hamster) has a voice and for some reason
my daughter Becca gave our Jack Russell terrier, Mollie, a lisp.
Hence, when asked for any suggestions for a company name, the dog replied 'Thox'!
The Thox Mission
'To provide a range of feminine and trendsetting larger size socks for ladies in attractive and practical designs made from quality materials.
Our slogan '...just a little bigger' means exactly what it says, as all our lines will be manufactured, primarily but not exclusively, to fit Ladies foot sizes 8 to 11.
The company promises to provide a friendly and personal service headed by the woman who created the concept.'
